Name: Elmina Timothea
Definition: Noble Honoring God
Resident: Nottingham, England
Occupation: Reader for the children at the Church
Bio: Elmina had always been a faithful, young woman. She had lived in the small city of Nottingham ever since she was a little pup. Along with her mother, father and brother, she had gone to church daily. And they have been going for years, resulting being close friends with Friar Tuck. Growing up, times were starting to grow darker for the villagers, so Elmina and her brother helped around the church whenever they can. The Friar was thankful for them and their help. This sort of life wasn't always this way with her and her family. Her mother, happened to be a princess, supposedly next in line for the throne in the neighboring kingdom of Winchester, and she had fallen in love with their father, who happened to be a commoner. But there were rules against it, so she had to choose whether to marry someone else or give up the throne. She chose love over duty and married the love of her life. Her family was much disappointed with her decision, but she wasn't going to love anyone else. That's why their father had always called Elmina his little 'princess'.
But on the day that King Richard had left for his crusade, her father had passed away due to a terminal illness. It was a sad day; and on top of that, the church was visited by the Sheriff of Nottingham, and shockingly, Elmina caught his eye. Annoying as it was, he came off as a flirt at first. She immediately rejected him, one because he worked for Prince John, the second reason being she was in mourning of her father. Over the next month, he kept coming by, collecting taxes for Prince John, the King's brother, and talking to the girl more and more. Much to her astonishment, she struck a conversation with him more frequently and most of them weren't friendly. Elmina then started to take precautions of her feelings in him. And she hoped in her heart that he would do the same for her. She thought he wouldn't because most would think of him as crazy for choosing a commoner like her. Whether it was a blessing or a punishment, she wasn't one to break his heart. So she said to him that she would only marry him when the real King returns to Nottingham. He started to make plans and after King Richard had returned, She kept to her word and they were wed. As much as she wanted to bear the harsh times in Nottingham, she learned to love what she had.
